Last month, Bandera’s Jazzlyn Lewis was inducted into Angelo State University’s Alpha Chi Honor Society, and her success continues this month with reception of an internship and induction into another honor society. Lewis, a sophomore animal science major in the Angelo State University Honors Program, has been selected for a 2021 Fulbright Canada - MITACS Globalink Research Internship. Fewer than 100 of the fully-funded summer internships are awarded each year. Selectees will spend 10-12 weeks this summer working with research teams from across the U.S. and Canada on projects supervised by Canadian university faculty members.
