Local musicians brought special musical tributes and original songwriting to the Bandera American Legion Post 157 Community Breakfast on Saturday, Sept. 14, as part of a 9-11 tribute called “Honor & Remember.” Photographs associated with the terrorist attacks from the Twin Towers in New York, the Pentagon and Pennsylvania were presented during the ceremony along with other tributes and poems. It drew visitors of all ages, including a grandfather who enjoyed the proceedings so much he went home and retrieved his grandson to join him. The grandson also met with a U.S. Army recruiter at the event and learned about voter registration,
