Texas Folklife, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the diverse cultures and the living heritage of the Lone Star State, is seeking handmade quilts for its upcoming virtual exhibit “Stitched Stories of Texas Quilters,” the organization said in a news release this month.
The curation team is seeking handmade quilts by Texans that tell a story. The quilts may have been passed down through generations of Texans or are quilts that have been previously exhibited.
More than one quilt may be entered and collaborative quilts are allowed.
Photo submissions of the quilts are being accepted through May 8.
