At the January meeting of the BISD Board of Trustees, board members unanimously passed a motion to put forth an 80-million-dollar bond for school safety and school site improvements before the community in late spring.A committee of 50 citizens, parents, community members, teachers and administrators met during the fall semester to tour the campuses and decide whether the time was right to propose a bond.
