The hunt for Freda Thomas is over.The Bandera County Sheriff’s office announced in a Facebook post early Monday evening that Freda Michelle Thomas had been taken into custody “without incident” earlier that day near Okmulgee, OK.Thomas, charged in a Bandera County warrant with murder, was last seen with 88-year-old Robert Isaacks on Nov. 15, 2023.Isaacks’ body was found two days later in Crocket County, 180 miles away, in a tarp wrapped with duct tape.On April 1, the sheriff’s office announced that Thomas was in custody in Mexico but later retracted the announcement, citing erroneous information.The Bulletin has reached out to ...
