The Texas Department for State Health Services (DSHS) attributed a new death to COVID-19 in Bandera County, bringing the total death count to 34. On Saturday, August 14, estimated the COVID-19 case count for Bandera County at 107. By Tuesday morning, that active case count was estimated to be 98. As of Tuesday morning, DSHS said they confirmed 1,231 cases of COVID-19 in Bandera County since the pandemic began, listing an additional 455 probable cases.
