Wisecarver charged with impersonating a public servant
Cody Lee Wisecarver of Bandera was arrested July 21 on a felony charge of impersonating a public servant, a failure to appear warrant and misdemeanor charges of criminal trespassing and criminal mischief.
Wisecarver had an outstanding felony warrant for avoiding arrest with a motor vehicle.
According to officials with the Bandera Marshal’s Office, Deputy W. Smith observed Wisecarver on July 21 wearing a black mask and black gloves looking over fences on the 200th block of Ninth Street.
Upon contact, Wisecarver falsely identified himself as a DEA Agent.
Wisecarver was booked in the Bandera County Jail.
This was not the first time the 37-year-old was met with such charges.
Wisecarver was arrested in Bexar County on May 23, 2020, for impersonating a public servant, illegal possession of a firearm by a felon and illegal possession of metal/body armor by a felon.
Wisecarver was arrested last October in Bandera County for criminal trespassing.
