David M. Mifflin, 74, of Lakehills, Texas, passed away on Feb. 14, 2020. He was born in Sand Ridge, Illinois to Harry and Dorothy Mifflin on Dec. 24,1945. He married Rebecca Miller on Feb. 1,1969, in Murphysboro, Illinois. David graduated from Murphysboro High School and was retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons after 26 years of service. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served his country as a Navy corpsman assigned to the Marine Corps, receiving two Purple Hearts.
