ESTEBAN RANGEL BRIONES

Esteban Rangel Briones of Bandera, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022, at his residence at the age of 63. He was born on December 26, 1958, in San José de las Flores, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Camilo Rangel Garcia and Maria Cesaria Briones Moreno.

He married Nelda Cardenaz in Bandera, Texas on August 12, 1989.

Esteban was remarkably talented carpenter who took pride in everything he created. He will always be remembered for his kindness, selflessness, and profound love he had for his family; he would do anything and everything for them.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Nelda Cardenaz Rangel; daughter, Sabrina M. Rangel and husband Darrell J. Clark Jr.; son Steven Travis Rangel; stepdaughter, Sheila A. Pina; brothers, Antonio Rangel Briones, Angel Rangel Briones, Felipe Rangel Briones, and Juan Rangel Briones; sisters, Raquel Rangel Briones, Manuela Rangel Briones, Filomena Rangel Briones, Reyna Rangel Briones, Celina Rangel Briones, and Lorena Rangel Briones; and one grandson, Tristan E. Babb.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Camilo Rangel Garcia and Maria Cesaria Briones Moreno.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. followed by a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Stanislaus Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Saint Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steven Travis Rangel, Tristian E. Babb, Darrell J. Clark Jr., Van Parish, Larry Cardenaz, and Jerry Cardenaz.
