STERLING QUINN GOTTHARDT

Sterling Quinn Gotthardt age 71 of Bandera, Texas passed away peacefully and went to be with our Lord on Jan. 2, 2024. He was born on Feb. 20, 1952, to Bill and Betty Gotthardt.

Sterling, after serving in the U.S Army, went to the police academy and served SAPD from 1972-2002. In his retirement he spent much of his time turning wrenches on his various boats over the years and loved being out on the water. He shared this passion with his favorite first mate, buddy and grandson William Sterling Ballard.

Sterling is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Betty Gotthardt. Sterling is survived by his wife of 37 years Kimberly Gotthardt, his daughters Katie Ballard, Mindy Jackson and husband Zane, Melanie Rodriguez and husband Juan, Annette Brown and husband Scott, Vanessa Mc-Quade and husband Daniel, his sisters Linda Tatum, Tracey Hay, Kim Simpson and husband Dave, cousins and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and loving friends Mike and Penny Verona whom he considered family.

A celebration of life will be held on Jan. 12, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grimes Bandera funeral Chapel in Bandera, Texas.
