LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Bandera Independent School District (BISD) is committed to ensuring that all students receive nutritious meals essential for their learning and growth.

Bandera Independent School District (BISD) is committed to ensuring that all students receive nutritious meals essential for their learning and growth.

Starting this school year, BISD provides healthy meals every school day, with breakfast priced at $1.75 and lunch at $2.55 for elementary students and $2.80 for secondary students.

Families may be eligible for free or reduced-price meals based on their income. Reduced- price meals cost $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch. Those who have received a notification letter stating their child is directly certified for free or reduced-price meals do not need to complete an application but should inform the school if any children attending school are not listed in the letter.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to complete a single application for all students in the household and return it to Nita Weber at PO Box 727, Bandera, TX 78003. For questions about the application process, contact Nita Weber at 830-460-3896 or nweber@banderaisd. net.
