Alamo RCD Area, Inc., Senior Assistance Program, sponsors the Free Food Pantry every month. The next Food Distribution is Thursday, June 13, from 12:30 to 2 p.m., at The Way Church, 7789 FM 1283.The program has put out an appeal for 20 inch box fans. With the rising temperatures, so many senior citizens do not have, or cannot afford, air conditioning. Fans can be delivered to The Way Church at 11 a.m. on June 13, before the Food Distribution begins, or monetary donations will be accepted online at the website.
