Bandera Independent School District (BISD) accepted two donations totalling $107,856 for a new scoreboard at Bulldog Stadium during their regular monthly meeting on April 12. Hondo National Bank and Warrior’s Heart chipped in $53,928 each to purchase and install the new scoreboard. The district plans to move the scoreboard to the south end of the field behind that goal post for better viewing by both sides of the stadium. The district also recognized fifth graders Siah Barnett and Serenity Fernandez from Alkek Elementary as the April Students of the Month.
