The Bandera High School Speech and Debate Team had a great showing at the University Interscholastic League Speech and Debate Tournament in Karnes City on Saturday, Dec. 14, according to Bandera Independent School District officials. The team of Devlyn Cadena and Adisyn Utter qualified for the quarterfinals tournament in the Cross Examination Debate competition in Karnes City, while Aidan Prater claimed first place in the Lincoln-Douglas Debate contest and second place in persuasive speaking.
