He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee & Esther; and, four brothers Elbert, Doris Lee, Ira Ney and Don.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 15 years Deborah Stapleton, Patricia Perry Isles, the Mother of his two sons, Jerry Jr. , wife Ralynn, and Richard, wife Marla, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and his beloved pets, Nikki, Coco, Momma & Honey.
Jerry graduated from South Park High School, Beaumont, Texas in 1957 and attended Lamar University before becoming a journeyman sheet metal worker, employed by Natkin Metal. Jerry built and installed much of the duct work on the Toledo Bend Dam. Jerry moved his family to Houston in 1972 and formed the All American Tile Company, with a satellite office in Austin.
After retirement, Jerry moved to Bandera where he built two homes and opened Frosty’s Cycle Stop. Bandera provided Jerry the opportunity to enjoy his passion for riding motorcycles and his sons are grateful to retain three of his former BMW bikes. He loved the life he lived in Bandera, enjoying family and friends, riding the open roads, dance halls, gardening, his pets, and bird watching.
