A student from Bandera and another one from Helotes will be among the 60-plus Kansas State University students who will spend a portion or all of the spring semester abroad thanks to scholarships offered through the university’s Office of International Programs, the Manhattan, Kansas-based university has reported.
Aimee Farrell, from Bandera, a master’s student studying architecture, and William Lofton, a senior from Helotes also studying architecture, both received $5,000 Mike & Betty Goss Study Abroad Scholarships enabling them to travel to Italy in the spring.
