Bandera High School students Kirsten Wedgworth, Ofelia Macias and Zakary Widenor performed well at contests held at the Region 20 Texas Association of Future Educators Conference earlier in December at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Bandera Independent School District officials said. All three of the students took part in the conference’s Ethical Dilemma competition, and Wedgworth also entered a competition examining non-core teaching career issues. Wedgworth’s performance qualified her to take part in the 2020 Teach Tomorrow Summit planned for Feb. 20-22 in McAllen. Officials said all three students did a great job representing BHS. ...
