A head-on collision on FM 1283 in Medina County near the Bandera County line on Feb. 16 killed a Mico woman, who was driving one of the vehicles, investigators said. Cathy Cross, 61, of Mico, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident shortly after it was reported at about 9:45 a.m., investigators with the Texas Department of Public Safety said.
