Many voters have indicated that the economy is their major issue of concern. An important consideration affecting this economic issue is the costs associated with healthcare. Regardless of how robust our individual health may be at the moment, there is no question that each of us will experience an interaction with the healthcare system in this country.

“I love working the polls!” a friend told me recently. “It strengthens my trust in the whole process. And it’s fun getting to help eligible voters flex their civic muscles.”

Early voting for the Nov. 5 general election begins Monday, Oct. 21 and ends on Nov. 1. Texas voters will be choosing from a full slate of candidates, from president to U.S. senator to various county positions.

My fellow Americans, We have an employee that we hired 3½ years ago. She was given tasks but completed none of them. She just had a performance review and failed it, so she backstabbed her elderly supervisor.

Congress almost passed a bill this past May with significant ways to combat the immigration crisis. Trump killed it.

The House Energy and Commerce Committee recently marked up up 16 pieces of legislation including the so-called Kids Online Safety Act and Children and Teens’ Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which would dramatically erode liability protections that websites and applications currently enjoy under existing law.

These days it seems like there has been a death of expertise. On social media, virtually everyone is claiming to be an expert. Where does that leave our trust in actual solid, provable, documented information?

I would like to share some thoughts regarding the debate last Tuesday evening between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.

In the last three and a half years between eight and twelve million illegal aliens have crossed our border and are loose in the United States. Many of these are known to have ties to terrorist organizations, criminal cartels, and adversarial foreign intelligence agencies. The American taxpayers are footing the bill for many of these people. Violent crimes are being committed in record numbers by foreign invaders. In that same time, food prices have doubled. Energy prices are sky high. Auto insurance has nearly doubled. The American Dream is almost unattainable for most young Americans.

“Weaving” has been Donald Trump’s most recent explanation/excuse of the all too often incoherent tangents he expresses while speaking.
